Symphony Club to host 'April Affair' for fashions

The Cincinnati Symphony Club presents its annual "April Affair" Fashion Show at 10:45 a.m. Thursday, April 8, at the Western Hills Country Club.
Chaired by Helle Banner Hoermann, the fundraiser features fashions from Miss Martha, of Ft. Mitchell, Ky., and includes a raffle, social hour and shopping boutiques, as well as luncheon and the show. This year's event benefits the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra's Lollipops concerts. Cost: $35. Call 513-221-4050.
The CSC was established 80 years ago to support the symphony's programs and promote the interest in music. Committee members include co-chairs Urzula Herzer and Esthela Urriquia, with Linda Goodroe, Charlotte Deupree, Elizabeth Kuresman, Cindy Rubal, Janka Stalenhoef, Mary Jo Barnett, Molly Osowski, Rosemary Schlachter and Ilse Van Der Bent.
